Powdery scab situation

In the last decades soilborne disease problems in potato production have rapidly increased, particularly powdery scab. This disease is now considered as a serious problem in the region and people at the National Colombian University Bogotá and the Polytecnico Medellin started an extensive research program with Spongospora.
